The idea was fairly simple.

Justin's Biology students would collect data from the lake.

Tom's Algebra I students would analyze the data.

The groups would communicate and learn from each other.

Students would appreciate the fact that the disciplines are complementary.

Students would have a "real" project to make learning more authentic.
